Job Title: Senior Beauty/Skincare Designer

Position Overview:
Grace & stella (and a few other beauty/wellness brands) are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Designer to join and lead our team of in-house designers to bring creative e-content, packaging, and design concepts to life across our range of health and wellness brands. You’ll have a leadership role within the creative team and will work with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are visually engaging and strategically aligned with brand goals. We’re looking for a versatile, detail-oriented lead designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about all things design!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-impact digital content - work with the creative teams to develop high-impact and converting brand collateral and campaigns, such as digital listing content, and digital ad content, for the Amazon platform and other digital platforms.
  • Execute packaging projects and evolutions - work with creative teams to develop visually compelling and innovative packaging and retail displays for the full range of products, for new product launches and to support retail launches.
  • Brand vision and guidelines - help develop and maintain the brand vision and branding guidelines, with a discerning eye for color, and design consistency.
  • Team Leadership and Culture
    • Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Self motivated to work with agility, adapt to evolving priorities, and be receptive to feedback with a positive and flexible approach.
  • Industry Awareness and Innovation - generate fresh ideas, stay ahead of trends in the beauty and skincare industry, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to elevate the brands and keep them competitive.
  • Cross function collaboration. Engage and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as brand team and compliance team, to align on brand objectives.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Experience and skills
    • 8+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a focus on digital marketing, branding and comprehensive design systems for consumer goods.
    • Passion for, and at least 4 years of experience in, the beauty or skincare industry.
    • Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent experience.
    • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to internal and wider teams.
    • Experience with designing brand collaterals for the Amazon platform would be a bonus.
    • Experience with packaging design would be a bonus.
    • Experience with photography and videography would be a bonus.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, project management tools.
  • Leadership and team management
    • A leader and mentor, who leads by example, and connects with and inspires the team of designers and creatives.
    • Excellent collaborator who works well with different cross-function teams and can influence at all levels of the organisation.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a fast-moving business, and to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
