✨🎅 Your Last-Minute Holiday Prep Guide 🎅✨

Christmas snuck up on us real fast this year!
You know you can always count on grace & stella to come through with the tips and tricks, and we have a few gems for you to have the best and least-stressful Christmas yet:
1. The Name is Claus, Mrs. Claus
With guests popping over without notice and parties coming up at the last minute, Christmas can be CHAOS. Be prepared for these unexpected occurrences with a stash of generic gifts such as wine, chocolates, candles, etc. Even if you don't use these at Christmas, you can gift them throughout the year!
2. Split 👏 It 👏 Up 👏
If you're hosting Christmas this year, be sure to delegate tasks with your guests - don't take everything on yourself! On the flip side, if you're a guest be sure to help out where you can!
3. Shop Until You (Don't) Drop
Food can be one of the most stressful parts of Christmas. Be sure to write a well-thought-out list for your trip to the grocery store to avoid a mad dash later when you're already elbows-deep in a turkey.
While you're at it, writing a food prep schedule can help you get super organized in the kitchen and streamline all tasks to make your Christmas cooking enjoyable!
4. Think Of The Children!
Kids can get very bored at Christmas, especially when all children are in different age groups. Make sure to think ahead of little activities to keep them occupied like coloring or activity books for younger kids or a Christmas scavenger hunt for the older ones.
5. 'Twas the Night Before Christmas
Minimize your stress by doing as much as you can ahead of time! Figure out what food items you can make beforehand, do your tidying and cleaning, and set the table up in the days leading up to Christmas Day.
6. Pass Buble the Mic
If you haven't done so already, create a Christmas playlist to have running in the background on Christmas Day to set a festive mood! If you're not up to making one, Spotify also has some great ones ready to go! Our office favorite is Christmas Classics. 🎅
7. May All Your Christmases Be Bright
Fairy lights always make a room feel cozier and much more festive, whether they're draped across the walls or windows, or bundled up into a vase for decorative purposes!
8. Eat, Drink and Be Merry!
Last but certainly not least, enjoy it! Christmas is the perfect holiday to spend quality time with the most important people in your life so make the most of the day! ❤

Have yourself a merry little Christmas from the team at grace & stella, xo
